When the 36-year-old spoke to Radio City Talk, a Liverpool-based radio station; he said he’s wondering whether he should continue playing for a little bit or retire but he hasn’t decided on that yet.

He further stated that he still enjoy playing, he loves going into training, he loves competing, so if he can carry on and there are opportunities to stay there or go somewhere else for another six or 12 months, then he will consider it.

This means the midfielder could be a free agent once LA Galaxy’s progress in the Major League Soccer (MLS) playoffs is decided.

Steven Gerrard says Liverpool is the only club he would play for

According to Sky Sports, the iconic midfielder has already begun his coaching badges and has given a helping hand with some of England’s youth clubs in the past few months. This happened when he was approached about the coaching position for England after a shocking Euro 2016 exit.

Gerrard, who has scored three goals in 17 appearances with LA Galaxy, had previously stated that Liverpool is the only Premier League team he would play for when he returns.
