Step 4: More Online Poker Hands to Expect

Read on to reveal more hands that can be expected when playing Online Poker.

The card hands mention in the previous page are the main card hands that players can expect when playing Poker. But because we want you to be fully equipped, we continue to explain some of the hands that you can expect.

  • Five low or Wheel: This is when a player has descending card like a 5,4,3, 2 and an Ace.
  • Six low: This is when a player has 5 unmatched cards, with the highest card being a 6.
  • Seven Low: This is when a player has 5 uneven cards and 7 as the main card.
  • Eight Low: 5 unmatched cards with the top card being an 8.
  • Nine Low: This is when a player has 5 uneven cards which are not of the same suit, with the highest card being a 9.
  • Ten Low: This is when a player has 5 totally different cards, with a different suit and the highest number being 10.
  • Badugi: A hand that has four cards which aren’t paired with different suits.
  • 3Card Hand: This is when a player has 3 uneven cards with different suits with a 4th matching card. The 3 cards that are unpaired of different suits play.
  • 2Card Hand: When a player has a hand with 2 unmatched cards of altered suits, the 2 paired or suited cards. The two lowest unpaired cards of different suits play.
  • One Card Hand: If a hand only has one card that is playable, the lowest card will play.
