The development team at IGT have done a decent enough job bringing the Ancient Egyptian theme to life. We did think that maybe the visual design was a little bit bland and dated; the game really doesn’t have the best looking modern graphics around. It looks good enough, but perhaps it could have been a bit better.
As you’d expect, the theme has influenced the types of symbols you find on the reels. The lower value symbols are represented by playing cards, while the higher-value ones use theme-appropriate images like Egyptian jewellery and artefacts.

As previously mentioned, IGT have gone for a simple type of online slot game here and there’s nothing terribly confusing or difficult to understand.

In the end we came to the decision that Treasures of the Pyramids is a good, if unremarkable, slot game. It doesn’t push any boundaries and doesn’t try anything new, but it does a good enough job at what it does do. There will be many players out there who will be happy with a simpler slot game, but we just felt IGT could have tried a little harder in some areas.
