José Mourinho: I Will Be Back In July

Former Chelsea manager, José Mourinho has cleared rumours by saying he will return to football in July but doesn’t know anything about his chances of joining Manchester United. Mourinho did not say much when asked how Manchester United’s struggles might directly affect his own future.

According to the Daily Mail, Mourinho was asked if this would influence his next career choice, but he just smiled inexplicably and said there’s plenty of time. Reported by Charles Sale of the Daily Mail, the former Chelsea manager has been linked with taking over Louis van Gaal’s role for this season

According to Sky Sports News HQ’s sources, Mourinho has higher chances of becoming United’s next manager, although no deal was in place last month. Mourinho, who left Stamford Bridge in December 2015, has frequently denied the rumours of succeeding Louis van Gaal.

Speaking in Mexico City, where he was coaching FIFA Legends team, he said he doesn’t know, he knows nothing about a deal in place to replace van Gaal and he doesn’t have a club.

Will José Mourinho be back in July?

Van Gaal has one year left on his contract with Manchester United and could possibly deliver a Champions League and FA Cup qualification this season. He believes that it is still possible for the club to qualify for the Champions League if the results go his way this weekend when the team plays against Bournemouth on Sunday 15th May 2016.
