Nemani Nadolo of Fiji returns to face Uruguay on Tuesday after a one match ban. Nadolo will start against Uruguay in their last Rugby World Cup match before they return back home after failing to reach the quarter finals. Nadolo missed Fiji’s 23 – 13 defeat by Wales last week Thursday after his suspension for a tip tackle in their match against Australia.
Fiji looks for a win
Fiji played well against Wales, England and Australia, but naturally find themselves frustrated that they haven’t won any match. As such, they are determined to finish the tournament with a win. Fiji and Uruguay found themselves in a very threatening pool of the tournament, in which Wales and Australia have progressed to the quarter-finals. England, Fiji and Uruguay failed to progress.
Coach John McKee is pleased with the way they have played in their previous three matches of pool A. All the credit goes to the players who put effort in those three games, although they were not lucky enough to come out as the victors.
Fiji won their last match in June against Uruguay in a non-capped international in Montevideo and they are hoping to repeat the history. After their match, Agustin Alonso of Uruguay described Fiji as an ‘undisciplined team’ and in most cases, playing against a disorganized team can lead to a poor performance on your part similarly..
Fiji VS Uruguay clash will take place at MK Stadium, Tuesday, October 6 at 20:00 BST
