Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola says he would not change his tactical attitude despite losing 4-0 against Barcelona. Barcelona star, Lionel Messi, scored a hat-trick against a wide-open Man-City defence and Chilean goalkeeper Claudio Bravo was sent off the post.
The 45-year-old Guardiola said there will be no change. Until the last day of his career as a manager, he will try to play from their keeper. Barcelona leads the Champions League Group C with only nine points, five ahead of Man-City.
In the early stages of the second half, Man-City were already a goal down when Bravo diverted a through ball, but then gifted control to forward Luis Suarez. The Chilean goalkeeper, who was standing outside his box, then intentionally handled Suarez’s lob towards goal.
Commenting on his side’s performance, Guardiola said from time to time players make mistakes and sometimes you have to kick the ball out. He further added that most of the time, when they play good, it starts from there. Pointing on the goalkeeper’s mistakes, Man-City boss said Bravo knows what he did, but he has lots of experience and he is one of the best goalkeepers in the last decade, so he has no doubts about him.
