The social network for gamblers, Betfect, has recently announced that it has just signed a deal with a major gambling operator. William Hill has now become the second large gambling operator to join the sports betting-orientated social network, after LadBrokes officially joined in 2015.
Betfect a network for gamblers
The aim of Betfect is to allow gamblers from all over the world to easily place bets and connect with other gamblers to share their successes. Betfect wants to be the best place to go for players who want to network with other gamblers, as well as track their performance, compete with other players and share their knowledge.
This will also help Betfect to help newer players learn quicker, as they’ll be able to connect with more experienced players and learn from them. New players will also simply be able to copy a more experienced player’s bet slip if they want to, all with a single click.
Betfect thrilled with William Hill news
The founder of the social network, Giacomo Alpago, has come out and said how delighted he is that Betfect has managed to sign William Hill, as well as the previous deal with Ladbrokes. They’re thrilled to be the first sports betting application of this type in the world and look forward to continue to improving players’ experiences.
The founder of the social network is not the only one who is thrilled, the Head of Product Innovation at William Hill, Mr Alex Rutherford, has said he believes this kind of service that aims to improve things for the players is a great idea and William Hill are delighted to be a part of this. They’re thrilled to support innovators like Betfect and hope that their participation will help generate additional interest.
Now that William Hill is officially on board, it will now be looking to further expand its network by adding more gambling operators and sports data providers , while also trying to launch mobile applications.
