Former Manchester United midfielder, David Beckham, has praised the new Man United striker Anthony Martial. He says he is impressed by the impact that Martial has on Louis Van Gaal’s side. Martial has already scored four goals in his first four appearances for Man United. During his debut match, he scored a contributing goal to make a 3-1 victory over Liverpool. He then scored two more goals to make a 3-2 victory last week at Southampton.
19 year old Martial scored his fourth goal again this week to make a 3-0 victory against Ipswich and Beckham is content by his performance so far. Beckham told Sky Sports that it’s a great start for Martial and he hopes he continues scoring more goals and become more successful in his football career.
Beckham won six Premier League titles when he was playing for Man United between 1992 and 2003 under Sir Alex Ferguson’s management. David Beckham also told Sky Sports that the current Manchester United team is currently in a good position, but the Premier League is tough and there’s still a long way to go.
Manchester United holds the second place in the Premier League log with just only two points behind Manchester City. Prior to the international break, Man United has currently only lost to Swansea but van Gaal’s side has helped them win four of their opening six matches.
