Former Australian Rugby league star Jarryd Hayne shocked the world again as he showed off remarkable football skills in his second American football game with the San Francisco 49ers. This follows a remarkable first pre-season game with the football team last weekend.
Hayne De-saddles the Cowboys
Hayne also shocked the commentators as he took an impressive lash out return in the Sunday’s game against the Dallas Cowboys, out-stepping the defence to pick up 27 yards. By half time, Hayne had scored a 28 yard punt return average. He then took another 34 yard run in the third quarter to extend the lead.
You Can’t Put a Price on Passion, Even in the Australian Rugby League
Hayne was about to earn a multi-million dollar salary before he walked away from the Australian Rugby League to follow his dream of playing in the NFL. He was determined to try football although many doubted that his skills would adjust and be used effectively in the NFL.
The people of Australia remain humble that Hayne has found something he loves and enjoys playing American football. This is the beginning of something overwhelming for Haynean possibly sports betting fans alike.
“I’m just taking in as much as I can. For me, I’m still learning and I’m still in a long way off from where I want to be.” – Hayne added on Twitter
