Tottenham Hotspur is on a roll when it comes to their unbeaten run in 12 Premier League games. This was further solidified thanks to Harry Kane who scored twice, followed by Toby Alderweireld’s goal and Kyle Walker who got the fourth goal over the past weekend’s match. Mauricio Pochettino, Spurs manager, said he is very proud of their team following a fantastic and amazing performance in their 4-1 Premier League victory over West Ham at White Hart Lane on Sunday.
Tottenham Hotspur equals the club record
Tottenham Hotspur has not lost in the Premier League since the opening day 1-0 defeat against Manchester United. The Spurs were hardly troubled by the Hammers on Sunday. Spurs took a 2-0 lead through Toby and Kane before half time. After half-time, Kane beat Hammers’ goalkeeper, Adrian, from 25 yards and made a 3-0 lead. Kyle Walker added his name on the score-sheet by bumping up the score board further to 4-0. However, 22 year-old Manuel Lanzani chipped a late consolation goal for the visitors making it 4-1.
How far can Tottenham Hotspur go?
While three points over West Ham victory didn’t move Tottenham Hotspur up in the log, they are that much closer to placing within the top four for the league. Next up is another London derby on Sunday, where Spurs will face Chelsea. If they beat Chelsea, they will go 13 points ahead of them and almost crush Chelsea’s dreams of winning Premier League title.
