Pinnacle Seeks UK License from UK Gambling Commission

Pinnacle, which is formerly known as Pinnacle Sports, announced that the company is about to apply for a gambling license which would enable them to render their services in the United Kingdom gambling market. According to the company’s initial plan, the application will be submitted in the 4th quarter of 2016.

According to Pinnacle officials, the presence of the company in the UK gambling market was a priority for the company. However, obtaining a gambling license from the UK Gambling commission required the company to do extra work and abide by the rules and regulations.

Due to legislative changes in September 2014, the company had to leave the UK gambling market. The changes required all foreign operators to obtain a license from the UK Gambling Commission. According to Pinnacle representatives, the company is now committed to regaining its position in the UK gambling market.

Pinnacle, which currently holds gambling licenses in both Malta and Curacao, is expected to quickly regain its former position despite the competition it will face in the UK. Apart from obtaining a license in the 4th quarter of 2016, the company could be seen launching a native mobile app by the end of the year.
