Just a few days after Leicester City was crowned the Premier League Champions, Leicester City’s Chairman Vichai Srivaddhanaprabha has allegedly won £2.5million on card tables on Wednesday night at a casino. 58-year-old Srivaddhanaprabha has proven to be an outstanding leader at Leicester. Before they were crowned the champions league title, the chairman offered free beers and food to Leicester fans on several occasions.
According to The Sun newspaper, Mr. Srivaddhanaprabha visited Genting Casino in Leicester and scooped £2.5million after playing the card tables. As previously reported by Sportsmail, Mr. Srivaddhanaprabha planned to buy every Leicester’s player a brand new £32,000 B-Class Mercedes.
According to YAHOO Sport, the chairman bought every Foxes player a brand new Mercedes for winning the Premier League as promised. With the title under his belt, the chairman has stumped out £1m on 30 brand new cars for his players according to reports.
Thai billionaire Mr. Srivaddhanaprabha is ranked by Forbes magazine as the fourth richest man in Thailand. Since 1989, Mr. Srivaddhanaprabha’s wealth is $3.2 billion which can be attributed to the first store he founded in his King Power empire selling Thai handicrafts.
Leicester City’s stars Jamie Vardy, Riyad Mahrez, and N’Golo Kante are set to leave the club this summer and will be playing away from the East Midlands.
