St. Croix Casino Hertel and Hertel Express

St. Croix Casino Hertel and Hertel Express is situated approximately two miles west of Hertel and just to the east of the former St. Croix Casino Hertel Express, located along State Highway 70. The grand opening of this expanded venue was held on 1 May 2017.

Guests exploring the newly enhanced casino complex will discover 250 slot machines, a restaurant accommodating 50 diners, and a convenience store stocked with petrol, deli-style sandwiches, and a comprehensive range of grocery items. A suite designed for truckers provides comfortable lounge seating, WiFi, washing and shower facilities, complimentary laundry services, as well as a diesel refuelling area with extra parking tailored for truckers. The St. Croix Smoke Shop, boasting a drive-thru window and a walk-in humidor, continues to be the top destination for discounted cigarette and tobacco product purchases.

On 26 May 2017, a nearby amphitheatre with 850 seats will open at 5 pm, featuring a debut concert followed by fireworks. On the following day, an RV park is slated to begin operations. Later in the summer, a registration/clubhouse is planned to launch, offering games, a lounge area, as well as washroom and shower amenities.

Previously known as the Little Turtle Hertel Express, the casino was rebranded in 2010 along with the additional two casinos, St. Croix Casino Turtle Lake and St. Croix Casino Danbury, under the management of the St. Croix Chippewas.
