Mass brawl at Queens Casino

A mass brawl broke out at Queens Casino on Friday night due to ‘daiquiris’.

The massive fight was allegedly broken out by an argument in an enormous line for drinks. More than a hundred of people who were hoping for an iced daiquiri at the bar Fat Tuesday bar, whose opening was on Friday started to get agitated with the Resort World Casino ended up fighting with each other when the party went south.

A casino worker stated that the fight started when two women clashed with each other during the long wait for their alcohol, and started dragging their group of friends into the fight.

The fight escalated into guests grabbing chairs and poles and worsening the brawl.

Security guards were sent in to calm the brawlers down.

At around 10:30pm bystanders upload footage of the fight on social media.

Elize Brown, A witness said ‘It was chairs flying everywhere — it was chaotic.

‘It was nerve-wracking. It was like you don’t know what the next thing that was going to happen was.’

Three men were arrested after the brawl.

Andrew Rivers, 23 with disorderly conduct and Jovan Bovell, also 23 was charged with disorderly conduct as well as with resisting arrest. Two summonses for disorderly conduct were issued against Marcus Stewart, 30.

Those involved were taken to hospital to be treated for their injuries.

Late Friday night, Ambulances were seen outside the scene of the fight.

The resort assured to try and prevent a second round and to increase security.

A spokesman said: ‘There is absolutely no room for this kind of behaviour at our facility’.

The damage from the fight is thought to top $4,000.
