Evolution Gaming has formed a partnership with Mybet, the German-facing online betting operator.
On Friday 10th March, the live dealer online casino specialists revealed that a deal with the Mybet group had been finalised.
The new arrangement will see Evolution provide Mybet with it complete portfolio of live casino products. This includes standard and VIP live gaming tables desktop devices, tablets and smartphones.
It’s believed that the service will go live on Mybet sites in Q2.
New deal latest in series of fresh Evolution arrangements
The deal comes on the back of a string of other Evolution live casino signings. Indeed, the company is now in business with the exchange betting operator Matchbook and the UK-licensed gaming platform provide White Hat Gaming. These too are expected to launch in the spring.
Mybet CEO Markus Peuler proclaimed the Evolution deal the latest step in his Malta-licensed company “completely revamping all of our offerings to create a fantastic user experience across both verticals.”
Mybet keen to make amends for up-and-down 2016
Mybet’s desire to overhaul its online product reflects the company reporting a “significantly reduced revenue base” in its most recent earnings report covering the first nine months of 2016. While the company’s retail betting operations and its European and African B2B activities showed a profit, the company’s other business areas continue to flounder.
Peuler blamed Mybet’s struggle on “a lack of sustained impetus” from the Euro 2016 football tournament, “relatively weak business development” at the start of the European football season, and the “significantly” reduced revenue volume from its online casino offering.
