Hard Rock Casino Rockford

Hard Rock International unveiled its $310 million project at 7801 E. State Street, adjacent to the I-90 exit ramp in Rockford, Illinois, with a grand opening on 29 August 2024. The first phase of the 180,000 square foot Hard Rock Casino Rockford boasts a 64,000 square foot gaming area, offering around 1,300 slot machines and 50 live dealer table games such as blackjack, roulette, and craps. It also includes a poker room and a specialised six-table room for Baccarat and electronic tables. Additionally, there is a comprehensive in-person sportsbook equipped with self-service kiosks and live betting windows, allowing wagers on a variety of professional sports.

The venue is further enhanced by the 23,000-square-foot Hard Rock Live, accommodating up to 2,000 guests, alongside nine dining and drinking establishments, featuring a Hard Rock Café, VIP Lounge, and a 16,000-square-foot concert seating facility. Hard Rock Casino Rockford provides 24/4 gambling services.

Currently, Hard Rock Casino Rockford has yet to finalise plans for the next phase of development. A hotel is included in the future vision for the entertainment hub, but a timeline for construction has not been announced. The proposed hotel site would replace about 1,700 parking spaces on the building’s northeast side.
