Dakota Star Casino

Situated in Sioux Falls, South Dakota, the previous Bob’s Café on West 12th Street was acquired by local entrepreneur Dale Dachtler in June 2019. He intends to refurbish the venue and launch it as Dakota Star Casino. Dachtler is reportedly engaging with residents in the vicinity to address any concerns they might have. Although details about gaming offerings are still under discussion, the new proprietor is said to be seeking a conditional use permit for beer sales at the anticipated casino. This matter will be addressed by the city’s Planning Commission at its regular meeting on 7 August 2019.
