UK gambling operator William Hill has signed a two-year agreement with the English Premier League club Everton FC. Under terms, the operator will become the official European Betting Partner of the club.
The partnership will officially begin on the 3rd of August, 2016 when the 2016/17 Premier League season kick-off. The new partnership will see both parties offering exclusive odds on;
- Different markets
- The football’s club English Premier League
- FA Cup
- Capital 1 Cup matches
In addition, the club’s fans will be given an opportunity to participate in various competitions with amazing prizes up for grabs. One of the competitions that caught our eyes is the Spot the Ball Competition.
The Blues announced that they will celebrate their new partnership by running a competition, giving Blues fans an opportunity to win hospitality tickets for the upcoming season. For the next two weeks, the club’s fans will win a pair of hospitality tickets by simply “Spotting William Hill footballs” pictured with the midfielder, Kevin Mirallas, appearing on the club’s web content.
The hospitality tickets for the 1878 Brasserie comes with a package that includes;

William Hill to Get More Exposure Through Interviews and the Club’s Screens
The deal will also offer William Hill with brand exposure on the club’s LED screens and interview backdrops. The gambling operator announced that it will make sure that they will improve betting experiences for the fans.
Commenting on the deal, Alex O’Shaughnessy, William Hill Chief Marketing Officer, said that they are happy to be joining the club. Mr. O’Shaughnessy further added that they are looking forward to working with the club and offering its fan base with an innovative betting experience across all channels.
Everton Head of Commercial Alan McTavish said that they are very pleased to have penned an agreement with one of the largest gambling operators as their official European Betting Partner. The official further pointed out that the partnership will not only involve the provision of an improved betting experience across different markets, but will also spread the benefits provided by the emerging digital channel.
The partnership comes right after William Hill issued a profit warning earlier this year. As described by Casino News Daily, this can be described as a tumultuous time for the operator. The operator did not perform well on its digital division and announced that it will lead to lower profits than expected.
The operator will issue its half-year financial updates this upcoming Friday, 5th August 2016.
