A leading international company, B2B technology and content supplier for the online gambling industry NEKTAN PLC, announced the appointment of Leigh Nissim as Chief Executive Officer of the company. Mr. Nissim will take over the company from the current CEO, Gary Shaw, who has been a temporary CEO since January 2016. His appoint will become effective in late July 2016. Mr. Gary Shaw will be taking a new role as Director of Strategy and will remain in an Executive Board position.
Prior to his new appointment, Mr. Nissim worked at the global leader in gaming International Game Technology PLC (IGT) as Commercial Director for the Interactive Business division. He was responsible for the growth of real money gaming across numerous regulated markets in North America and Europe.
NEKTAN PLC to introduce Mr. Nissim to the company and its employees
It was announced that Mr. Nissim is now transitioning from IGT to NEKTAN and will be formally introduced to the company and its employees in early June.
Commenting on the new appointment, Chairman of NEKTAN PLC, Jim Wilkinson, said they are happy to be appointing someone of Mr. Nissim’s calibre and experience to the company during this period of high growth and development. Mr. Wilkinson further added by saying Mr. Nissim’s appointment will assist the company continue its growth momentum and take advantage of new product and distribution opportunities.
According to the official, the Board is confident that Mr. Nissim’s digital and gaming experience will benefit the customers, employees and company’s shareholders as they enter the next chapter of their development.
